| T/R modules are widely used in ether military or civil millimeter wave radars and sorts of communication system applications. A T/R module system is designed, implemented and tested after investigating the theory of Ka band millimeter wave T/R module in this paper.Chapter 1 in this paper is an introduction of the significant of T/R module research and the background and development of T/R module in our country and foreign.Chapter 2 in the paper introduces the waveguide,the microstrip and the waveguide to microstrip transitions-filine, and then design two sorts of the waveguide to microstrip transitions-filine.Chapter 3 in this paper is about the filters .The theory and design methods of filters are introduced. A low pass miscrostrip filter, two pass miscrostrip filters and a waveguide filter are designed.Chapter 4 introduces and designs LNA, PIN SPDT, active frequency multiplier module.Chapter 5 introduces and designs the harmonic mixer.IN the last, a millimeter wave T/R module is constructed based on this. A smaller space for the whole module is resulted by reasonably arranging the structure of the devices. The testing results almost meet the predicted requirements, giving a reference for the next step work to produce miniaturized high quality T/R modules. |
