Based On The Pci Bus Audio And Video Compression Card Driver

In this paper,Windows Driver Model,the Windows up-to-date device driver architecture, is analyzed particularly and WDM driver working mechanism under Windows2000 is illustrated.By applying above theory, we study the device driver of data compression card base on PCI bus. In addition, device drivers of data compression card base on PCI bus is written. According to the rotine of device driver,the methods of device drivers for the newest members of the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems using the Windows Driver Model are discussed thoroughly under Windows 2000.At the same time,I explains how to read/write the configuration space of data compression card based on PCI bus,physical memory and input/output port. In addition,the paper introduces the methods of DriverEntry routine,AddDevice routine,PnP routine,expansion routine,interrupt routine,device open and close routine,At the end we develop the program of accessing storage media directly and display image data with high speed and great capacity in real time.
