Video Kara OK system is a new kind of karaoke OK. With the shift of Kara Ok video and camera shooting of singers, it sets singers into the screen. Nevertheless, the picture is so stiff that it is difficult to carry on the widespread promotion. This thesis which bases on the insufficiency of the video Kara OK system, has invented a brand-new entertainment system - - Visual Video Kara OK Synthesis System. The system intends to position singers who are at different terminal in the network but sing the same song simultaneously into the same virtual stage, eventually manages to visualize the effect of a chorus on the singers' respective terminals. The detail contents and results are as follows1) In the section of portrait extraction, the author has put forward a suit of brand-new flow which consists of image pre-processing, background modeling, background elimination, connected-domain denoising, portrait extraction and portrait compression, and gotten better results.2) The two methods about background modeling based on shade detecting and reference frame were presented during portrait extracting research, and the better results has been gotten.3) The method dealing with denoising with connective domain analyse based on max tree method has been presented, and used in post-processing after portrait extracting.4) Based on H.264 standard, an improved algorithm on motion estimation was brought forward to reduce the time of vedio coding.5) The compact algorithm has been presented, embedding the two processed portrait image into the image without portrait, and which is proved by the experiments.6) The system has been designed with UP (Unified Process) criterion, UML (Unified Model Language) and JMF (Java Media Framework).
