Individual characteristics have gradually become a kind of new fashion or new trend in web application.This research is about the on-line bookstore system based on related data regulations. Compared with those versions which used to be adopted online, it has the advantages of simplicity and directly-perceived pages. The On-line bookstore is just a novelty in our country but it developes rapidly. With the popularization of Internet and on-line bookstores, more and more computer users are sure to be attracted . Its marketing potential is going go be fully promoted.This paper focuses on the following work:(1) The background of personalised pages and general principles of the system Win2003server+IIS+ASP are introduced in this thesis.(2) The detailed description of the systematic structure and the working principles of e-commerce are given in this reserch.It also analyses the specific characteristics and key points during the application and realization of the on-line bookstore.(3) The paper designs ASP pages such as the user management, the catalogue management, the book information-input management, the booking management, the book-browsing,book-seeking and the purchasing accounts-settling function.(4) Needs analysis, database design and back-office systems design.(5) An on-line bookstore with a complete system is about to be set up and tested the results.
