Computer Drawing is a newly-established applied technology basic course and it is adapted to the reform of the engineering drawing course. It applies a computer to make an engineering drawing , mainly by the use of general drawing software AutoCAD. With the teaching of CAD is an important part of the Engineering Graphics education, and the demand of modern distance education, the examination by application of computer is an important form of examination. And then, the automatic evaluating by computer becomes a hurry-up problem that it is necessary to be solved.Nowadays the engineering graphics examination is mostly carried out by written examination and operation on the computer to test the students' grip knowledge, so engineering graphics automatic recognition is one of the exigent problems in the current engineering course examination of the distance education.Based upon the predecessors' achievements of scientific research, this paper indicates the two key points of the evaluating system: finding mistakes accurately and evaluating mistakes in reason. In this paper, a flawless preconditioning algorithm is used to solve the first key point, and a new solution is used to solve the second key point. This paper also describes a solution of evaluating the test question of descriptive geometry.The solutions described by the paper can be used in most of CAD environments. A system based on AutoCAD has been developed. Experiments have showed the evaluating result of the system most tallies with the result by human.
