Security of information transmission is becoming more and more important along with the development of media digitized and network technology. Information hiding technique provides a new way to resolve the problem of security in digital media. It is widely used in secured communication, protection of digital copyright, electronic commerce, e-government and so on. Information hiding embeds secret data in another public cover message. The secret data can be transmitted clandestinely. As the cover message is public, it is very hard to find the secret data.Information hiding technique is rapidly developed in recent years. Some hiding methods and algorithms are put forward. These algorithms can be mainly divided into space domain algorithm and frequency domain algorithm. Generally, space domain algorithm is very simple in computing, it has better invisibility, high embedding capacity, but low security than the algorithms in frequency domain [Wang yu-min 2006]. Wavelet analysis is a new and effective method for signal processing and analyzing. It's multi-resolution characteristic is very useful for image processing and brings a new idea for information hiding. For image information hiding quality is directly related to human visual system(HVS), the better hiding result can be obtained according to choosing the optimal coefficients based on HVS.HVS is a synthetical system involves biology, psychology, physics, mathematics, etc. The secret data is embedding in cover message by using visual redundancy. HVS has some features such as contrast, gray, direction, visual conceal, etc. Image can be divided into different regions, good result is gained by hiding information in texture region.This paper has researched some related problems of image information hiding technique, the research circumstance is Guizhou technology fund project—Image Information Hiding Technology Research. HVS and wavelet resolution are emphatic studid and statistical properties of frequency bands in DWT are summarized. In this paper, a deep research is being carried out on using HVS for image classifying and the embedding rules of high capacity information hiding. A image classifying method is presented based on region energy distribution. High capacity information hiding algorithm is put forward after studying some different tactics. Experimental results show that the algorithm is invisible and it has a high capacity.
