Blog, characterized with its customization and publication, has become an indispensable part of the fast ever developing internet. While the traditional text-content blog still prevails, Video blog has showed its great potential and advantages through its concrete and specific way to express the theme deeply and broadly.Video Blog (vBlog), with the video platform added to the traditional blog, enables the visitor to browse a blog in a direct way based on the video clips with a simple and elegant style, rather than browsing the boring text oriented blog.This paper is developed and realized by JAVA and based on the B/S structure vBlog system. The front-end is open to the visitors to browse and upload the video clips to the personal space. Meanwhile, the administer at the back is responsible for checking all the information uploaded by the visitors according to his own authority and recommending the outstanding articles.Compared with the traditional vBlog using http to download the video directly on the local driver, the new method uses streaming media, when the visitors browse the video. Thus, the streaming media method doesn't require large bandwidth and allow the visitor to freely control forwards and backwards. This project attempts to use a new structure—rtmp streaming technology, allowing the visitors to skip so that it saves time and memory space. All these make the vBlog continuous, real time, and sequential. At the same time, the fms server can also alleviate burden of the web server.This paper tries a new structure so that it could improve the function and flexibility of the vBlog to a large extent.
