| The evolvement from PSTN to NGN is driven by the drastic market competition among all telecommunication operators, the requirement of enhanced service from customers and the convergence trend of the telecommunication networks. Now, the NGN network intelligent (NI) becomes one of the most popular topics in telecommunication industry. Most telecommunication operators, equipment suppliers and organizations (such as ITU, EITF) all strive to be the first to study and practise on it.The network evolvement is not an accomplishment in an immediate action but a long-term process, which is also the course of new technology deployment and application. The introduction of new technology will be determined on many preconditions such as customer requirement, expense of network construction, the management and maintenance adjustment of network changement, and so on. Therefore, How to work out one strategic solution on reconstruction of telecom network based on their idiographic situations,is the mostly concerned issue of researchers and operators.The main tasks of this thesis are:1. Discuss the driven complications of PSTN network evolvement, and then analyze the key protocols of the NGN networks.2. Discuss the network investment protection and transition of current PSTN network, management and personnel competence building, and provide suitable solutions.3. Based on the basic NGN architecture, I illustrated the deployment analysis on NGN core products of Alcatel Shanghai Bell.4. To provide solution of network evolvement for Tianjin Netcom: make full use of current network resources to building their future NGN network architecture gradually.In this article, I study furtherly on the Tianjin PSTN networks and draft clear NGN networks construction suggestion:1) Build NGN tandem exchanges, and make it "network intelligent" .2) Based on NGN tandem exchanges, distribute of traffic for Tianjin Toll exchanges.3) To unite with the NGN DC1 networks, build the two layers NGN structure for local and cross-provinces.4) Introduce the access GW to the network, to finalize the migration from PSTN to NGN and make preparation for IMS.Those studies will give some helpful instruction and reference for telecom operators.In the end, I give an outlook on the NGN network development based on the latest NGN research status. |
