Therefore during the constructions of hospital information Platform, the design and realization of the drugs management system is an especially important link. This part guarantees normal use of the whole hospital drugs, as well as the smooth circulation of drug's information in the entire hospital information system. Along with the hugeness and complication of the system , the traditional host/terminals or two-tiered client/server mode can not satisfy the users, Therefore the new distributed application system(three-tiered system) came into being.This paper based on hospital information system and the whole design and the actual development have detailed exposition of its subordinate of the drugs management system, and giving a complete set of design: The drugs management system based on three-tiered C/S model, and successfully applied to the actual program of the system, realized the information reference, statistics and the resources sharing.
