Beidou satellite navigation and positioning system developed by China is a satellite navigation and positioning system with two-way communication, real-time navigation and precision timing characteristics. It has been widely used in national defense, communications, construction and other economic areas.In this paper, user-machine of time function of Beidou satellite communications system is studied and designed. In accordance with the steps of embedded system design flow, detailed system analysis of the user-machine is conducted and a design implementation to formulate a feasibility assessment is analyzed in detail. The detailed design of hardware systems and software systems are discussed as well, and finally the user-machine system hardware platforms and application software architecture are described. The system integration testing and performance analysis is conducted at VRTX real-time multi-tasking operating system development platform for hardware and software systems. In this paper, the design of the user-machine system is not only constitute a small embedded system independent, but also the system of communications, navigation, timing and other characteristics of the user system as a sub-system with other systems work. Good system design enhance the ability to capture satellite signals, improve the accuracy of satellite time and the reliability of embedded systems design and design for testability.Through high-speed signal integrity design, combined with the use of dedicated ASIC chip implementation of high-speed satellite data processing, this design greatly reduces the data communication error rate and system size, design costs, and facilitate universal access of user-machine of Beidou satellite system.
