| As a novel information technology, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) has been paid more and more attention to. With the development of RFID technology, its advantages become more and more obvious compared to other traditional identification technology. Now RFID system is being widely used, and become a fresh force in auto identification technology. Now the standards for RFID are becoming mature. There are different standards in different frequencies. At present, high frequency R FID system based on inductive coupling load modulated technology is used worldwide. Along with a very fast speed development of global economy, especially the advancement of transport field of Things, the requirement of ultra high frequency (UHF) RFID system is becoming increasingly pressing.RFID tag chips are the carrier of information in the RFID system. The research of the chips can accelerate the development of RFID technology. As the most used part in the RFID system, the cost of the chips restrict the application of RFID, so the process of the tag chip is becoming smaller and smaller. In order to cut down the cost, most of the tags is working in passive situation, so the energy of the tag chips is all from coupling of the electromagnetic wave. As a result, low-power-design is required. This project is based on the latest ISO/IEC 18000-6 standard, introduces the theory of RFID system, ISO/IEC 18000-6 standard and the circuits of tag chips. The clock circuit is being concentrated, carefully analysised and designed. The layout of the circuit is being designed and post-simulated. For different testing chips, different test system is being designed. The clock circuit in this project is designed using TSMC 0.18um process and has been delivered to MPW. |
