Based On The T.120 Standard For Remote Data Conferencing Systems

With the development of multimedia technology and computer network technology, multimedia conference system, composed of video/audio conferencing system and data conferencing system, will be widely used. Now, video/audio conferencing technology is mature while data conferencing technology is in constant development and research.The object that this paper studies is data conferencing system .This paper not only introduces the framework of T.120,analyzes the definitions ,models, functions of every protocol and their dependence ,but also optimizes the key modules and adds new features .The improvements are as shown as the following. The first, design that the single terminal deal with many data conferences at the same time in GCC(Generic Conference Control);the second, improve the model of resource management for MCS(Multipoint Communication Service);the third, add the function of storing data temporarily and improve the white board application to the transparent white board application.Next, it is general design for data conferencing system. This design contains C/S model ,five layers structure(application layer, abstract interface layer, specific interface layer, support layer, platform layer),C/S connection ways and abstract interface of the key entities.Then, introduce and implement the functions, flows and specific interfaces for data conference system's T.120 server, and discuss the roles of data conference.Last, design the actions and flows for data conference system's client terminal. At the same time, analyze and design the multipoint file transfer application, the multipoint chat application, the white board application and the multipoint application sharing. At the end of this paper, we also design and realization the storing data temporarily application and the transparent white board application.
