| To accommodate the fast development of wireless communication, the coding and modulating with high efficiency of the spectrum and the power are needed. Because the spectrum becomes more and more scarce, and the bad effect of electromagnetism to the environment, we need to develop a new technique to meet the requirement of high data rate and low power. In this thesis, LDPC code is used as the channel coding, to improve the spectral efficiency by combining channel coding and modulation. The generalized space-time coding, which can be used in different space environment and the various configuration of antenna, is also used to increase the data rate and decrease the bit error rate. These techniques can be used to the distributed wireless communication system, the sensor network, cooperative communication system, the military communication system and also the radio access network, they are very important for the development of the wireless communication in the future.In this research, LDPC code is used as the channel coding, the QPSK is used as the modulation and the generalized ABBA code is used as the space-time coding which can be extended by the Alamouti code and ABBA code.The thesis consists of six parts as following:The first chapter gives a general idea of wireless communication system, channel coding, modulation, and the space-time coding.The second chapter gives the detail description of the LDPC code, and also the simulation result.The third chapter gives the detail description of the ABBA code and the generalized ABBA code, and also the simulation result.The fourth chapter gives the system simulation result and the implementation in the FPGA platform.The last chapter gives the conclusion and the work in the future. |
