| With development of power devices, there is a competition between Vacuum Electronics and Solid State Electronics. As a result of the competition, a new device as Microwave Power Module (MPM), which consist a broad-band Mini-TWT (Travelling Wave Tube), a Solid State Amplifier (SSA) and an Integrated Power Conditioner (IPC) is raised. The performance of the device is fine, thus it will meet request of next generation electronic system.In line with the structure of MPM, the function and the trend of solid-state driver Module is analyzed, then a circuit diagram for the driver is proposed in this thesis. The Module, which can supply the Mini-TWT with driving power and gain equalization, consists of a solid state amplifier, a microwave power equalizer and an integrated power.In this thesis, the analysis microwave power equalizer is proposed, and a design method of it is given. This method treats the analysis of resonance branch and impedance matching as sign analysis cell. At last, optimizing the structure of microwave power equalizer by CAD, it is easy to shorten the design cycle of microwave power equalizer.Following the methods presented before, some power equalizers in yields of 0.8GHz-2GHz,2GHz-8GHz,6GHz-18GHz are designed in form of microstrip. These equalizers cost less and have smaller size.In line with the structure of power driver module, a simple anlysis of design and measure of power equalizer net, security and protection of MMIC is presented. Based on the analysis, a Power Driving Module of 2GHz-6GHz is designed. Its max gain≥20dB and saturated output power≥1W. |
