The velocity and variation law of high-speed underwater navigating vehicle is the key to measure its hydrodynamic and ballistic characteristics, as well as the important parameters of super cavity formation and drag reduction characteristic. Accurate measurement on the speed of underwater high-speed navigating vehicle has great significance on hydrodynamic layout design, control system scheme design and trajectory characteristics research for super cavity ammunition.According to the problem existing in the past plan of coiling target measurement and laser screen target measurement with low measurement precision, poor reliability, difficulty of being used in field pool, comprehensively considering the affecting factors in the movement of the super cavity projectile such as disturbances, rapid change of environment, wide projectile dispersion and the sealing of the projectile velocity measurement, based on the fixed distance chronometry, the testing scheme using contact paired position tinfoil target and embedded microprocessor hardware system was adopted.By means of increasing the processing circuit, low cost tinfoil target was made suitable for different water and non-complete sealing condition through impedance matching, the problem of the difficulty of being used in field pool and sealing was solved. Based on MSP430F149, the power circuit, reset circuit, clock circuit, signal processing circuit, man-machine interface, communicate circuit was designed, embedded system and host computer software was developed. Adopting the hardware and software anti-jamming measurements, control system was developed with the function of signal acquisition, storage, capture, processing, display, communication.Through static testing and improvement, the speed testing experiment of underwater high-speed vehicle was carried out, and the velocity parameter and variation law of underwater vehicle was firstly obtained domestically. With accurate measurement on velocity and variation law of underwater high-speed navigating vehicle, the designed speed-testing system which is suitable for the requirements of field pool was testified, and provide a feasible testing method for the research on underwater high-speed navigating vehicle.
