Information-theoretically secure secret-key agreement is the key to make perfect security.A secretkey agreement over a public channel usually consists of three phases,initialization,information reconciliation and privacy amplification。The models of unconditional security from quantum channels and noisy channels are two typical methods to get two strings called A and B which have error rate P0 in the initialization phase,then two parties carry on information reconciliation and privacy amplification by exchanging message over a public channel,two parties obtain a secret key about which wiretapper know nothing finally.Once the secret-key has been agreed over a public channel,one can use the key to encrypt messages by using one time pad.Error correction technique which is used in informationtheoretically secure secret-key agreement is discussed in this thesis.The main work in this thesis is as follows:an information reconciliation protocol,called(24,12) extend Golay code information reconciliation protocol,which is based on(24,12) extend Golay code and the exchange of parity is presented.The correction ability and information leakage of Golay code information reconciliation protocols are analyzed and some expressions are given in detail.The theory and experiment results indicate that the(24,12) extend Golay code information reconciliation protocol has good feasibility and small information leakage.
