| With the development of the industrial control technology and the network communication technology, the communication function of programmable logic controller (PLC) plays more and more important roles in the increasingly sophisticated and large-scale industrial automation market. Types of network communication systems of OMRON company can be applied to various of fully functional industrial automation networks. The Ethernet network, Controller Link network are the the main push by OMRON among them, and they can interconnect with each other.The automation network communication technology and its application method of OMRON PLC were researched in this paper. The specifics are as follows:Firstly, the basic knowledge of the network communication technology of PLC was introduced, including the basic theory of data communication, the basic theory of industrial control local area network, the network architecture of PLC, and the network communication systems of OMRON PLC.Secondly, the network configuration, the network protocol, the network function and the network communication method of Ethernet network and Controller Link network were researched respectively.Thirdly, the double-deck communication network of the Ethernet network and the Controller Link network was built based on the campus local area network, and the FINS communication was implemented on the double-deck network by setting the parameters and programming the communication program of the network.Fourthly, the water level supervisory system was developed using KingView software on the host computer. The host computer can supervise the PLC on the Controller Link network via Ethernet network by the double-deck network. The desired experimental results were obtained by the simulation run in the lab.The Ethernet network, Controller Link network and communication method of the double-deck network of OMRON PLC were researched in this paper, and the water level supervisory system was developed on this basis. The communication method of the double-deck network was verified by the simulation run of the system, which supplies important reference for the practical application of OMRON PLC networks. |
