Based On The Db2 Relational Database Performance Optimization Study

This thesis mainly analyzes how to adjust and optimize very large relational database(VLDB) to make it in best performance and finally fulfil customer's demand of practical application. This thesis is based on Database2(DB2), one of the most famous products of IBM, studies the basic structure and optimazing theory of relational database, which contains database designing, parameter configuration, access path optimization and SQL optimization. What's more, all of the above theories and plans has already been combined and actualized in the project of database's optimization of a native big bank. This project represents a series of steps of how to do analysis, find the culprit, design scenario and do local testing, there are also a batch of contrastive experiments from which we prove the feasibility and advantage of the optimizing scenario.
