| RFID as a significant branch of automatic identification technology, has been developing rapidly for the last few years, along with its applications across a wide range of industries. In the near future, RFID system are likely to take the place of bar codes and contact IC applications. However, unsolved problems still hinder wide adoption of RFID system. This paper, by addressing these obstacles, gives a profound meditation on key issues of RFID system. The following jobs are done:First, the background and importance of the research subject are elucidated, along with the present research status abroad. RFID system composition and principles are presented, and so are RFID applications standard and benefits. The challenges faced by RFID system establishment are also discussed. Both main content of research done by this paper and the problems to be solved are explained in this part.Secondly, current research status and the reader network structure are covered in details. Both standards associated with RFID reader network and difficulties and critical problems of its research are analyzed and studied.Thirdly, based on the readily available RFID deterministic anti-collision algorithms, this paper introduces the Enhanced Dynamic Binary Search, which, compared with other binary search algorithms, are able to identify more tags in a short span of time by significantly decreasing the number of loops in algorithms.Fourthly, after inspecting the existing stochastic anti-collision algorithms, this paper devises two stochastic anti-collision algorithms, by combining which, the tags can be identified by reader more quickly and precisely, as these two algorithms can accurately estimate the number of tags without increasing the system complexity.Fifthly, after examining the on hand reader anti-collision algorithms, this paper conceives a new reader anti-collision algorithm, which effectively prevent collision between RFID readers without increasing demand on readers'hardware. This new algorithm is apt for dynamic network topology structure since it has no requirements on the RFID reader topology structure. |
