Augmented Reality (AR) is a new human-computer interaction technology developed from Virtual Reality. Augmented Reality systems add virtual computer-generated material to the surrounding physical world to improve the person's perception. From the current situation and the development of the AR tracking , the vision-based tracking is the mainstream direction. When the object or user moving quickly, the real-time of the vision-based tracking is poor, especially, the tracking can't be realized when the marker has been sheltered. The inertial tracking has the advantages of high integration sensity, high real-time, stable function, so it can make up the defects of vision-based tracking. The development of an inertial tracking device is mainly introduced. This is a wireless hand-hold device, it includes five basic modules: the data acquisition module composed by three–axis acceleration sensor, the data processing module composed by microprocessor, the data transmitting module composed by wireless RF transceiver, the control module composed by buttons, and the power module. The circuit design requirement is provide based on the hardware structure of the inertial tracking device, meanwhile, each hardware module is analyzed and designed in detail separately, which includes relative technologies introducing, devices choosing, function module analyzing, the schematic circuit diagram and PCB design, and the programming of relevant function and debugging experiment. Displacement is simulated in the Simulink by establishing mathematic model. The receiver part circuit is introduced and elaborated, emphasizing on the USB interface design, which includes the chip connecting the microprocessor and the USB interface, description of the memory chip and the low dropout regulator and the specific circuit design.
