| With enhanced computing capacity of personal computers and affluence of network resources,there is a tendency of the Internet to return to P2P network.Not only has P2P been studied and utilized in increasing domains,but also various deviations applying to different environment have been researched;and structured P2P is outstanding in controllable environments.This paper discusses the feasibility and advantage to apply structured P2P to instant audio system.It is composed of three parts.Part 1 brings forward Sipear,a P2P structured instant audio system which we developed independently.In implementation of Sipear,we uses and refines algorithm and topology of Chord to adapt it to the needs of instant audio system.In this part,the most distinctive applications of structured P2P,namely distributed research and data transfer in application layer are introduced.And Part 2 and Part 3 further expatiate the utilization of this two applications in Sipear.Part 2 analyzes the usage of distributed research and demonstrates a feasible mechanism for structured P2P instant audio system by analyzing data from practical development and simulation experiments.Part 3 discusses the effect of application routing to meet the rigid requirement of audio quality in instant audio system by improving direct routing. The effect of one-hop application routing on instant audio system and possible transfer algorithm are presented.And finally,this paper gives a brief description of future related work. |
