Cloud model is a model of the uncertain transition between a linguistic term of a qualitative concept and its numerical representation. It makes control experiences that expressed by human language constitute the rules, a number of rules constitute a rule set. When the external input stimulates the rules, with uncertainty reasoning of cloud model, it can get the realization of the uncertainty of anthropomorphic reasoning and control.This kind of control can achieve effective control to the system; only need the knowledge of qualitative concept, without establishing a precise mathematical model. In the field of intelligent control, cloud model has been used in a lot of applications. However, intelligent control using cloud model is often implemented in computer by computer software. And the disadvantages of computer hardware, such as its fixed interface, limited numbers, large volume, high cost, power consumption and poor real-time limit cloud model's further applies in the intelligent control.For computer software's shortcomings, we consider to use embedded SOPC to implement cloud model control. First, from the point of cloud model used for intelligent control, we study the cloud model 's uncertainty reasoning theory based on rules generator and analyze the related technologies that the implement of the controller with the cloud model based on SOPC, including data processing of input and output on the system, the database structure of the cloud rules and its storage strategies; then use the specific hardware platforms of SOPC to design and implement the hardware configuration of processing systems and uncertainty reasoning algorithm of cloud model, and system integration. And then discuss the application in intelligent washing machine with the cloud controller based on SOPC. Finally, the work of this paper is summarized and put forward the next stage of research.
