| In recent years the optical fiber grating sensor has demonstrated the huge application potential in the field of aerospace, ships, civil engineering, petrified industry, electric power industry, nuclear industry, medicine and so on. In system of ship's security monitor, the optical fiber grating sensors distributed in each part of the ship, real-time measures elastic distortion to warn as well as the breakdown diagnosis goal.In view of the existing questions about the actual use of optical fiber grating strain sensor in this article, and the solutions is proposed. At last the distributed optical fiber grating sensor system is applied in the ship health examination, and it has obtained very good effect .The proposed solutions in this system include:(1) Select three optical fiber grating sensors of different base materials to carry on the experiment of the cantilever beam deformation. Through the comparison and filtration the optical fiber grating sensor with titanium alloy material obtains the best linearity and the best stable conversion ratio between strain and wavelength. Thus optimizing the reliability of sensor.(2) Through the theoretical calculation and the experiment confirmation, the strain range of the optical fiber grating sensor achieves±3500με, meeting the big strain-gauging need when the package structure of "gong" , titanium alloy foundation plate material and the 496 adhesives are used in sensor .(3) Through the theoretical analysis and the experiment confirmation, after the optical fiber grating had been annealed at 140°C high temperatures for 10 hours, the optical fiber grating can achieve the steady state in a short time and effectively solves the long-term stability.(4) Using the special seal structure independence temperature sensor with strain insensitive to compensate temperature, solving the influence of the temperature-strain alternately sensitive in the strain sensor system. |
