Embroidery Machine-machine Communication Systems Design And Implementation

Abstract/Summary:
At present, the majority of domestic embroidery factory supervise computer embroidery machine manually, which makes low utilization of such advanced production equipment, so, it results in a smaller quantity of embroidery production, lower efficiency and other issues. In this dissertation, the network technology was proposed to be used in production management of computer embroidery machine embroidery, which will conduce to improve the way of embroidery production management, the production efficiency.In this paper, firstly, the function of communications systems in the computer embroidery machine control system was analyzed from the hardware structure, an overall design of communication system was made. Secondly, based on the ARM chip S3C2410 development board, the interface circuit and network insulate circuit were designed to realize network connect. Thirdly, based on the Linux operating system, the programs were designed to realize communication between host computer and embroidery machine, which were based on the Socket programming technology of TCP/IP protocol C/S model and multi-threads programming technology. Fourthly, according to the requirements of embroidery production management, the communication software was designed to realize the functions of state-monitoring of embroidering, file transfer, state-monitoring of download mission, memory management, machine parameters setting, statistic of embroidered information, and other functions. A friendly human-computer interface was designed, and Chinese-English display was designed to make operation more succinct.At last, each module in communication system was debugged through stand-alone and online. The debugging results show that this communication system can realize the embroidering management of embroidery machine efficiently, through the host computer; and the efficiency of embroidering production was improved greatly.
