Dalian Port File Management Information System Construction

File is the real record of human society activities, what is regarded as the treasure of society and a very important part of man's historical and cultural heritage. As an important information resource of the enterprise, it plays an important role in business management and the development of enterprise. It is profoundly affected in the field of file management theories, pattern and methods with the rapid development of information technology and information industry, hence, the construction of file informatization have become an important topic to the file workers in the information era.Dalian Port proposed a strategy of constructing the "Engineering of Dalian Digital Logistics Harbor" and realizing the digital management in 2004. It has provided good opportunities for development of informationizing of file management. As an important constituent of the "Engineering of Dalian Digital Logistics Harbor", the project of Dalian file informationization will also along with it start. Based on the analysis of the internal and external environment, This paper established the whole thinking of the project and solved the problems of information system which including the architecture, function design, structure customization and security construction of system and so on. By using the information system of file management, it fulfilled an integrated management system for file collecting, managing, retrieving and inquiring, which has laid a solid foundation for constructing digitized archives.
