| H.264 is the newest international video coding standard which approved by ISO and ITU-T. Compared with other old standards, H.264 owns advanced technology such as multiple reference picture motion compensation,variable block-size motion compensation with small block sizes,integer transform with DCT,CABAC,CAVLC etc. Although new technology improved coding capability, the complexity arithmetic block practicality appliance. This paper approves a new intra mode selection arithmetic based on correlation of frams and approved a new inter mode selection arithmetic based on correlation of former frams. Simulation results show that these methods computational cost effectively.On the other hand, nowdays there are many platforms sustain H.264 including special SOC. TI TMS320DM644x provided with powerful ability. This paper introduce the kernel of TI DSP and the key arithmetic of H.264 implementation based on TMS320DM644x including item optimization,arithmetic optimization,Cache optimization and DMA transit. Simulation results show that these methods reduce Cache miss, decrease the CPU Total Clock and provide reference of applications which based on H.264. |
