| Inicontemporary optics theory, OTF (optical transfer function) has been an important index to evaluate an image-forming system. It is objective, accurate, and can be quantitatively analyzed. It is more advanced to test an optics-system than delectability and asterisk testing. Nowadays, as the development of computer programming technology and the high-precision photoelectric detector, the calculation and measurement about OTF have been constant adjustment and improvement. The application of OTF has made a good performance in the fields of optics designing, processing, testing and information processing.The MTF tester mentioned in this paper, which based on a practical engineering project, is a device that can accurately evaluate a image-forming lens.The research of the tester is mainly about the MTF theory and optics-detecting theory, and combined with the digital image processing. The main tasks are given as follows:First of all, the development of Fourier optics is made to a resume, including the background of OTF theory's origin and the subsequent history, which includes the development and direction of the OTF testing technology. The importance about this paper and the specific responsibilities are listed.The normal methods of image-quality evaluation is elaborates in this paper, and the reason why the OTF can be an importance index. Based on Digital Fourier measures, the advances of FFT to image processing are analyzed to deduct the whole process, and bring a butterfly algorithm.Then the factual structures of the MTF tester and application program in PC are illustrated. Through a series test to lens sample, the stability, the error cause are analyze and gives a solution.At last, the whole work is summarized and points out some question unresolved. At the same time, the factors are also explained. |
