Rss-based Personalized Content Recommendation Service System Design And Implementation

With the rapid development of Internet technology and increasing Internet applications,the Internet has become one of the main medias of information issues. Most network research has focused on technologies that collecting valuable information on the Internet and providing user with more humankind service.Nowadays personalized services have formed their own theory and method to satisfy the demand of customs.RSS protocol, which has been proposed and developed in recent years,is widely used for message packaging and delivering on the Internet.Many Internet applications use RSS to deliver information, such as blog,news website, search,e-commercial and so on. Most RSS research has thus far emphasized RSS technology applications in different fields.However,few research focus on RSS packets or flows identification and the behavior characteristics of RSS website. RSS technology has better dynamic characteristic and timeliness, so combining the personalized services with RSS technology will consideration to the interactivity and the personalized demand. In this paper, aiming to the demand of CCTV web visitors, we studied the designation method and the realization scheme of the RSS based personalized recommendation system.In the first part of the paper,the background,definition,standard, principle of work,alomg with the system, the technical superiority as well as the application present situation of RSS were introduced. Based on these reserach,the design and development of RSS-based personal customized information service are introduced,including its model, structure and the main functional modules.In this paper, DMVC design patten is used to construct the whole system. Data involved in our system are user data and RSS data, which are encapsulated by Java bean. The view of our system is edited using FrontPage 2003 and JSP code. Although the view is simple, the function of our system is perfect.There are three models in our condtructed system:HtmlInformation Extractor, RssInformation Parsor and DBBean.The control of our system is realized by ControllerServelet.Using above construction, one can then realize our system sucessfully using Java and Tomcat.In the design of the system, the WEB server of the system adopts TOMCAT, and the backstage database is MySQL. The program language is JSP. Because this system adopts B/S pattern,clients only need browser-and-operation is made very easy. Morover,the designed system can provide individual services for the customs and advocate the individual and intelligent advancement of Internet.
