In this paper, we make an effort to analyze the image of the rich class, using framework theory, through textual analysis and the content analysis, presented by Chinese Media reports, in the Financial Crisis.First, we put the rich class of Chinese media reports in the specific social context, find the relationship between the text and the external environment, as well as the media, socio-economic reasons; Secondly, we try to analyze the Chinese media how to reflect the rich class image through the media production process and its interpretation and meaning for discourse construction. Finally, we make a suggestion to the journalists that they should pay attention to the problems and find out the countermeasures.The framework of this paper is as follows, in the first chapter, we explains the research background, motivation, and the theoretical and practical significance, as well as the core theory for this research, for example, the rich class, media discourse, media representations, media presentation.The second chapter focuses on an overview of China's rich class changes and the current status of the development. In China, the rich class is benefit from reform and opening policy from 1978.The third chapter focuses on two studies in this thesis methods, content analysis and text analysis. Chapterâ…£is the core part of the paper, mainly through the 200 media reports of the rich class related with the financial crisis, and represent the rich class's media image.Chapterâ…¤is about the rich class of the media framework, characteristics and problems.Finally, we summarize the main conclusions of this paper, and paper shortages and limitations, and give follow-up study paper a direction.
