The Study, Based On The Life Cycle Of The Banking Sector Data Backup Management

Currently, several banks have completed their own application systems with varying degrees of data integration. Based on the enjoyment of the convenience and benefits while we getting the upgrade of the real-time, consistency, data sharing and security, at the same time we face with threat of serious drawbacks brought about by the data integration. In order to ensure the stability of the application system and to recover from the disaster as soon as possible, data backup management becomes particularly more and more important.In the bank, there are a lot of many application systems. And the amount of data is very amazing. Each application system can be sorted by different importance. They have different requirements for the backup method, backup time and the retention period. Under the premise of the complexity of the systems and the enormous amount of the data, how to get an in-depth of study about backup management and bring about a set of practical and efficient standards according to the operational characteristics to make the backup system formally put into operation become the outstanding problems that need to be solved.This thesis selected one bank's data backup system as an example and gave a required alteration based on the existing bugs. This thesis realized the standard management, regulated the storage structure and controled the scale of online data. It improved the efficiency of data access and reduced the waste of resources.This thesis is divided into the following six chapters:Chapterâ… is a brief introduction for the research background, topics, and the object. Chapterâ…¡brought out the importance of data backup through the analysis of the characteristics of the trading system. Chapterâ…¢had an in-depth research on the backup strategy and developed a life-cycle-based management. Chapterâ…£gave the architecture design of the backup system. Chapterâ…¤made the conclusions and outlook.The research of this thesis provides a new exploration for data backup management based on the lifecycle. It gives a new theoretical perspective, an application method and a good reference for data backup management. It gave a full architecture design on the backup system and explained the jobs from the point of view of project management.
