Carrier Rocket whose system is complex and large-scale is the most important space vehicle. With the rapid development of computer simulation technology, the simulation research on complex large-scale systems of aerospace has made great progress. To solve the prominent problem that there is no real launch vehicle for training in satellite launch center, aerospace departments attach great importance to full digital simulation of the launch vehicle. The training level and comprehensive experimental ability of satellite launch center can be effectively improved by Launch vehicle test and simulation system, which is developed to do numerical and visual simulation on the whole process of Launch Vehicle's Testing and Launching. Launch vehicle test and simulation system is a distributed system, which is constituted by multiple subsystems, such as numerical simulation system, visual simulation system and mission management system. So the construction of the distributed platform is the key to it. The major content I research is a part of"full digital launch vehicle", which is the key project of General Armament Department. It's aimed to constitute a distributed platform for the simulation system by designing and developing federations based on HLA. The following are the main works:Firstly, start from the basic theory of high level architecture, HLA rules, HLA interface specification , HLA object model template and RTI are researched, after that, the FEDEP is analyzed.Secondly, launch vehicle test and simulation system is overviewed, on this basis, according to the FEDEP, the system is designed and divided into overall inspection simulation federation, control system simulation federation, and propulsion system simulation federation which are composed of 11 federates, and then, the function and modules of each federate are designed in detail.Thirdly, according to the design scheme, the federations are developed. The interaction classes which will be published or subscribed by the federates are confirmed, in the light of this, the development of the FOMs is finished. Moreover, some pivotal modules are developed. Federation LRC module, MATLAB adaptor module and database management module are respectively implemented by CFederate, MatlabAdaptor and DBMgr, which are base classes of the project, on the other hand, the solution based on MOM of the federate monitor module is introduced.Finally, in the case of the first overall inspection, the simulation federations are tested integratedly, the result shows that the federations can be created and destroyed successfully, and the federates can join in and resign their relevant federation properly, furthermore, they can interactive with each other as necessary, and the interoperability has reached the requirements of the system.
