At present, with the rapid development of science and technology, and the increasing demand for informationization, institutions of higher education focus on building digital campus. This paper, through extensive exploration and research, will try to propose an overall planning of digital campus.On the base of the successful experience of other institutions at home and abroad, the paper studies the related theory on information technology as well as the supporting manufactures. The paper begins with a brief introduction to the background of university information technology in China, and describes the problem lying in the course of informationization in Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College. Furthermore, the paper aims to achieve a reasonable and scientific design of digital campus according to strict uniform standards and and widely applied in the real life.In order to solve digital construction problems, the paper, on the deep analysis of the core technology during the process of information building, displays the global service model to help build the overall framework of digital campus to overcome the kinds of problems the institutions meet with. On the basis of uniform data and standards, unified data exchange platform and common data platform, unified information portal and authentication platform, the integration of information resources of application system, the resources of information and teaching will be used and shared effectively.Through a large number of studies, the author believes that the construction of digital campus will make a profound impact on the study, work and life of the college students, and promote the level of education.
