As a remote communication tool which is visualized, efficient, timely and low-cost, the interactive video distance education is applied in every teaching aspect, including online live video teaching, interactive video distance education, online electronic whiteboard teaching and so on. The interactive video distance education system, which is recognized as distant, interactive and coordinative, brings a brand-new video technology into every aspect such as class, teaching and research, communication, evaluation, etc. It will deeply reform the educational model, save lots of time and cost, and raise the communication and learning efficiency.Flex is a kind of technology which can easily and quickly create RIA, (Rich Internet Applications). It provides an efficient development model and is also a kind of efficient open-source framework, which can be applied to build and maintain all major browsers, desktops and the congruously deployed operation system. Flash Media Server(FMS) is a real-time data stream platform. It integrates the features of multimedia interaction, real-time audio, real-time video, real-time data stream and so on, which can be used by customers to communicate at real time and share the synchronization. This thesis creates a powerful and interactive video teaching system by integrating this streaming media function with .NET application server.Firstly this thesis introduces the relevant background of the research and its significance. Then it summarizes the research status quo, the problems to be solved and the innovations. Secondly, this thesis elaborates the related theories of modern education technologies and the related software development technologies. According to the requirements of the interactive video teaching system, this thesis develops systematic design principles and goals, and elaborates the workflow and implementation method of each function module. Finally this thesis shows the software design and implementation of the interactive video distance education system on the basis of the Flex+FMS, and makes analysis and provides solutions to improve system performances, and proposes the next program of the research. |
