The intelligent network is important to domestic telecom operators, since it will bring them high profit. Therefore, the operating status of intelligent network system becomes an important criterion in the examination. However, due to the complexity of intelligent network system, there is not such a standardized evaluation method to effectively and rationally comment it. This thesis mainly researches the operating status of intelligent network system.Nowadays telecom network is developing on its way to digital, intelligent, comprehensive and individual-oriented target. Traditional telecom service is not able to meet people's needs. In the meantime, people requires higher of the telcom service and hopes more convenient service is provied. Before the intelligent networks were invented, the development of such new business requireed all the switches add corresponding software modules. Due to the huge number of switches, various models, different exchange principle, unlike structure and design, it is unfavorable to the development of new business. Intelligent Network is built base on the existing telecom network to set up a layer of nestification networks which is fast, easy, economical, flexible and effective to generate new business architecture. The goal is to serve current and future of all telecom network services, including Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), Global System for Mobile Communications, Code Division Multiple Access (GSM, CDMA), Broadband ISDN (B-ISDN), Internet (Internet) and so on. Certainly the definition of intelligent networks do not contain the often understood'intelligence'meaning, it is merely a "business" network, and it can be considered as a new network element which is added to current GSM. The rapid growth of telecom value-added services bring telecom operators huge profits, especially CRBT, VPMN which incerase the ARPU of customers.How to guarantee the quality of value-added services as well as the healthy system to provide customers with the best quality service, so that the competitiveness of telecom operators can be enhanced, and market share can be enlarged. Achieve efficiency goals has become China's telecom operators'enormous challenge and building operation support system has become the focus of telecom operators. With the standardization of Intelligent Network at different stage by ITU-T, many countries have begun to build and implement intelligent network as well as highly involoved in business services. According to statistics there are now many countries and regions have already set up intelligent network around the world, and based on that developed a series of intelligent network services.Since intelligent network provide users with a variety of services, as well as quick, flexible and effective methods to meet the needs of the various users, once launched, it was warmly welcomed by the users.Intelligent network services have many advantages, so domestic operators concerned about the rapid development of the intelligent network service so much. However, there lack a mature and normative system to research, evaluate and judge the intelligent network services. This thesis mainly analyzes and researches the operating status of Intelligent Network (IN) systems.
