The welding is known as name of the industry sewing machine, the submerged-arc welding has become one of high production efficiency of machine welding methods. it plays an important role in boilers, bridges, pressure vessels, shipbuilding and so on the machinery manufacturing.Based on the study of the submerged arc connect each part of the system in this article, The detailed introduction of subdivision principle of stepper motor SPWM and drive speed of brushless DC motor, current double closed-loop digital control speed principle . According to the limitations for conventional digital PID control algorithm, it introduces the integral separation digital PID control algorithm in the article.According to the requirements of the project, the design of workpiece revolving,torch moving in fixed place,automatic wire welding control plan.The welding car control the moving position of welding torch, two three-phase hybrid stepping motor control horizontal and axial displacement of the welding car , thereby welding torch can accurately aligned with the workpiece weld.It can control wire feeding amount and wire feeding speed by using the current popular brushless DC motor. On the basis of the core MCU AT89S52 and C8051f330 ,it completes the hardware and software design of welding control system .The control circuit mainly includes the SPWM wave electric circuit, the electric current and voltage detection circuit, brushless dc motor rotor position detection circuit and power inverter circuit.The software design uses the control mode of condition control and the interrupt, to ensure motor real-time control,and improve the control precision.At present, the development of welding control system has already been laboratory testing and run on the spot,The results show that the control system can make the welding torch accurate positioning ,the wire feed of wire feeder speed smoothly without jumping, weld forming quality is beautiful, accord with the welding specifications, for the submerged arc welding provided a practical feasible plan.
