Research On Production Decision - Making Under Low Carbon Constraint

Global warming has become the common challenge in the world, carbon dioxide as the main reason of the greenhouse effect has nearly caught the attention of more and more countries. In order to alleviate human environmental crisis, carbon reduction is regarded as one of the major problems to be solved currently. Our country at present as the world’s largest country in carbon dioxide emissions is facing more and more severe pressure to reduce emissions, so carbon reduction is urgently needed. In addition to use the power of social development and the progress of science and technology to control and reduce the carbon emissions we also need to reduce carbon emissions from the micro level of enterprise production operation. In order to achieve the maximum benefit of the enterprise as their own strategy, the choices of enterprise in the face of the government’s measures to reduce emissions will become particularly important.Based on the perspective of low carbon emission reduction, this paper studies the enterprise production decision-making behavior with external carbon emissions constraints. Firstly, this paper analyzed the serious situation of emission reduction which our country is facing. Under this background the paper introduces three constraints enterprise mitigation measures concluded carbon emissions limits, carbon tax and carbon emissions trading. For each emission reduction measures, the connotation and implementation of emission reduction at home and abroad which were detaily introduced and provides certain reality basis for our research. Secondly, the article is divided into two parts according to different research object. Most of the first is the enterprise consider the government under the condition of a carbon tax policy, enterprise decision-making and the process of reduction. The second most is in the carbon cap and government allocated to enterprises producing carbon quotas and free of carbon trading behavior, the implementation of the behavior of decision-making and reduction process. As the focus of the article research, this paper constructs the only one manufacturer and a retailer’s supply chain operations model in two kinds of low carbon constraints. Two emission behaviors were analyzed under the decision of operation rule and effect, and provide reference and guidance in a wide range of policy for the enterprise production decision. Finally the article summarizes the different decision-making process of enterprise production behavior under the restriction of low carbon and concludes the insufficiencies of the study and the need of improvement.
