Study On The Construction Of Shanghai International Financial Center By The Opportunity Of Free Trade Area

The Idea of the construction of Shanghai international financial center is first suggested in the 1990s, more than ten years have passed, Shanghai has made a series of achievements. In 2009, Shanghai free trade area established, Shanghai international financial center construction entered a stage of accelerated development. Based on shanghai free trade zone and the financial center related theory, this paper analyzed the development course and status of Shanghai international financial center, and Shanghai is discussed by using the method of quantitative research of international competitiveness. The author believes that through the joint efforts of more than 20 years from the party and the people, Shanghai has made a lot of construction achievement. Now, Shanghai is a cross regional international financial center. In addition, the Shanghai free trade zone has bring a lot of opportunities to Shanghai international financial center construction.The opportunity that shanghai free trade area brings for Shanghai international financial center construction can be summarized as three aspects:first, the development of Shanghai international financial center positioning; Second, shanghai free trade area provides a breakthrough channels into international financial system; Finally, shanghai free trade area activate the financial innovation of Shanghai.
