The study of the economic behavior of oligopolistic competition is of great sig-nificance to our realistic life, so it has attracted more scholars’ enthusiasm. Many scholars have made much progress in these researches on the production game and price game and location game. However, with the rapid development of science and technology, the "war" of R&D (research and development) between oligarchs is beginning to appear. The researches on R&D competition are not many. The studies of the R&D competition of two oligarchs in the same expected conditions have been studied in the existed references. While there are not only two oligarchs in the real market, such as three oligarchs of communication industry:China uni-com, China mobile, China telecom. So it’s necessary to study R&D competition of three and more than three oligarchs. Oligarchs make different decisions according to their own conditions. Some may consider previous data in order to make more scientific decisions. Oligarchs may adopt different expected conditions according to the amount of information they obtain, which is worth studying. In this paper, the three problems are studied respectively. The main content is as follows:1. A R&D competition model with technology spillover effect under the same rational expectation of three homogeneous oligarchs is established. The dynamic behavior of the model is analyzed theoretically and some responsible results are obtained by numerical simulation. In the method of chaos control, the negative influence that the system generates chaos can be delayed or eliminated.2. A R&D competition model with the time delay of three homogeneous oli-garchs is established. The dynamic behavior of the model is analyzed theoretically and simulated numerically. The chaotic phenomenon generated by the system is controlled, as a result, the period-doubling bifurcation and chaotic phenomenon are delayed visibly.3. A R&D competition model with the different technology spillovers under the different rational expectations of duopoly. Their products are different. In the same way, the dynamic behavior of the model is analyzed theoretically and simu-lated numerically. The chaotic phenomenon generated by the system is controlled, as a result, the period-doubling bifurcation and chaotic phenomenon are delayed visibly.
