The Impact Of Large Data And Its Evaluation

From the year 2013, the word "big data" is becoming the very popular in the domestic, and it is discussed in all kinds of field. In the short time, big data has made the large influence in such aspects as national governance, social functioning, business management and personal lifestyle, etc. In my essay, I firstly discuss the concept of "data", and point the natural relation between data and big data and mathematics. Then by explaining the origin of big data, I hold that big data should be not believed as the collection of massive data, but believed as a new mixed high-technology in the condition of the modern science and technology, and I point the relation between big data and cloud computing, and internet of things, and smart city respectively. Based on the contents above, I expound the current influence of big data from the four aspects, which are respectively everything quantified, the limit of big data analysis, personal level and social level. On the first aspect, I hold that it is impossible that everything will be quantified, and it is yet not necessary. On the second aspect, I hold that the correlation advocated by big data cannot replace the standing of causality, and big data analysis needs the premise involved in theories, the results of which can only be as references. On the third aspect, I hold that everyone should strengthen the awareness of privacy protection, and demand that data owners delete our individual data after a certain period of time. On the fourth aspect, I hold that when we enjoy the benefit of big data, we should supervise data owners, especially the probable action of monitoring from the government, and promote the cooperation among nations to construct the cyberspace community of shared destiny.
