Icbc E-banking Risk Issues Studied

Since 1990s, based on information technology, Internet has been changing the social economic operation rules and people's behavior and their belief. With the application and popularization of modern computerized network technology in the traditional bankings, bankings is entering into a new period of development—the period of internet banking development. The development of internet banking changed the current operating systems; accelerated the efficiency of banks, enlarged the service scope of banks, promoted the banking's innovation and increased the financial globalization and integration. But, at the same time, all the above—mentioned characteristics decide the specialty of internet bank risks.The quickly convenient information exchange, as well as the virtual all-day dealings operations, make the financial risks more complicated. Thus, the new challenges were brought up to the banking's operation management and risk management. It will be very practical to do research the risk problem. Through the deep investigation and research on the domestic and international internet banking, this thesis analyzes the risks of internet bank of ICBC and gives the corresponding suggestions. In the first chapter, the introduction to the concept of internet banking, its characteristics and the development of domestic and foreign banking are given. In chapter two, the functions of information safety in internet banking management are stated. In chapter three, by the analysis of internet business, introduces the special risks of internet banking operation. In chapter four, by the analysis of safe system of internet banking of ICBC, the safe and risk systems estimation are established. In the last part, by the analysis of international internet banking risky supervision, a set of supervision mechanisms on ICBC's internet banking business are brought up.
