Sme Technology Innovation Model

Considering the importance and the recent theoretical developmentin the technology innovation, concerned with the small and medium-sizedenterprises, this article starts with the definitions of the small andmedium-sized enterprises, as well as the historical research achievements,and then we move on to the advantages in prompting the technologicalinnovation for the small and medium sized enterprises in contrast with thelarge organizations. According to the different criteria for classifying themode of technological innovation, we have a comparatively detailedillustration of those modes of technological innovation. A variety offactors contribute to the selection of the technological innovation modesfor the small and medium-sized enterprises, among which thetechnological innovation capabilities would be a critical and essentialfactor. In this essay, we try to figure out the correlations from thetheoretical perspective of technological innovation. The development ofsmall and medium-sized enterprises in America and Italy arerepresentative, which could provide some guidance for their counterpartsin China. In reality, the technological innovation has become a bottleneckfor restricting the development of the small and medium-sized enterprisesin China. The cooperative technological innovation mode would be awise choice theoretically and practically, considering the overalltechnological innovation capabilities, which were illustrated in somerecent research reports. In the final part, we present some suggestionsbased on the technological innovation module, and hopefully these wouldbe a little help for the development of small and medium-sizedenterprises in China.
