China's Insurance Market Exit Mechanism Exploration

Financial risk is a part of landscape of insurance business. Although serious regulation measures have been taken, the government can not prevent insurance companies from bankruptcy. With the soaring number of insolvency of insurers, the policy makers had to give more attention to designing a mechaism, which can protect the financial stabilization. On the basis of the introduction of some basic conception and experience of developed countries, combined with the reality of China, the thesis provides some suggestion on the construction of mechanism of insurance companies'withdrawal from the market in China.The thesis consists of introduction and five chapters.The introduction demonsrates the backgroud and research methods of the thesis.Chapter 1 is the introduction of some basic concepions and the illustration of the related problems on insurance companies'withdrawal from the market. Insurance companies'withdrawal from the market refers to the termination of insurance companies' operation because of market elimination. The mechanism of insurance companies' withdrawal from the market refers to a series of rules which regulate insurance companies' withdrawal from the market, including the types, methods, principles, procedures, undertaking of the loss, compensation for the policyholders and so on. Following, the thesis analyses the economics theories. the theories include industry lifecycle theory and fundamental theory.
