Rmb Internationalization Research

With the continual growth of Chinese economy and the rapid development of Chinese economic power in recent years, many economists have had some bold predicts of the international currency structure of the following years, among which Renminbi is more and more thought to be a promising currency, and become a hot "currency material", which is part of the international currency system in future. Thus this is what the thesis pay attention to: the Internalization of Renminbi.The study of Internalization of Renminbi differs from a general study of pure theories; it has a strong realistic meaning. So some analysis measures, such as combination of theories research and positive analysis, combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, combination of antitheses and induction, etc. are adopted in the paper. In this paper, theories research is mainly used in the introduction of the Internationalization of Renminbi, and positive analysis is used in the income analysis of the Internationalization of Renminbi. In the chapter of ways to realize the Internationalization of Renminbi, induction and comparison methods are adopted to analyze the Internationalization process of US dollars, EURO and Japanese Yen. Based on the realistic situation of China, the paper finally concludes some proper ways to achieve the goals of the Internationalization of Renminbi.As to the concrete contents, the thesis first described some academic evidence for the internationalization of currency, then analyze the potential income and risk of the Internationalization of Renminbi. After that, the Internationalization process of US dollars, EURO and Japanese Yen are compared between each other and their successful experience which China could use for reference are summarized. In addition, this paper analyzes the current situation of all conditions that the Internationalization of Renminbi will need according to the basic conditions for currency internationalization raised by IMF. At last, some suitable strategic choices for the Internationalization of Renminbi are claimed.
