There has been 11 years since North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) took effect. As the largest and first free trade area consisting of the developed and developing countries, there are many disputes before it take effect. These disputes are still continued now. Most of all are evaluation of the effects the Agreement took on Mexico. Different scholars draw different conclusions from different standpoints.There are three representative points of view about the effects on Mexico. The first point is positive, representative of the combined announcement of the members' government. The second point is negative, representative of International Trade Supervision Organization and some Trade unions. The last point is indistinct of some International Fund.This thesis makes use of comparative method and demonstration analysis through widely collecting data and information from all kinds of organizations. It mainly analyzes the effects of Agreement on actual Mexican economic changes after practice of the Agreement. It respectively deals with effects on different economic field. It tries to draw conclusion more approaching the fact from other influent factors. It will be beneficial and valuable to other developing countries especially Latin America countries participating regional economy integrity.The thesis is broken down into four main parts. Part one is the introduction of NAFTA, introducing process, content and characteristic of the Agreement in brief. Part two is the cause of Mexico taking part in NAFTA, discussing about international circumstance, domestic situation and anticipative benefit. Part three is the influence of NAFTA on Mexican economy, analyzing from domestic economy, foreign economic relations and other effects, which each one including different fields and departments. This part is the emphases, occupying the most writings.
