Synchronization of spatiotemporal chaos system is one of the most active areas of chaotic synchronization study at present. And the spatiotemporal dynamical-system of coupled map lattice (CML) has been widely used in the study of spatiotemporal chaotic behave, because of the advantage of discrete time, but continuous state variable. And the CML model has become the hotspot in the chaos control and synchronization research, because it has the importance of application in secure communication and automatic control etc. The research of spatiotemporal chaos system in coupled map lattice (CML) is synoptically introduced in this thesis, including unilateral CML, diffusively CML and globally CML. At the same time, four kinds of typical synchronization methods for chaos system and the recent work on the synchronization of spatiotemporal chaos system are introduced. In our work, a method is proposed by classified a local function from the target spatiotemporal chaos system and coupled with combination control, and by adjusting the parameter in the local function, the global synchronization for two globally CML has been realized based on the Lyapunov stability theory. In addition, the spatiotemporal chaos synchronization in ring network with the same structure is studied in our work via local function coupled with combination control method. Separately taking globally CML and unilateral CML as examples, the simulation results show that this method is effective. The controller is designed concisely by this method, and it costs less time to achieve the synchronization. So it has specific significance in practical application.
