Study of remaining oil distribution has always been an important and challenging task, accurate assessment of remaining oil is essential in the late adjustment to the oilfield development and EOR Potential implementation of the program.Petroleum science and technology workers in China's exploration many years, finally formed a set of continental strata of the remaining oil methods.Geological study of remaining oil from single-subject research to a multi-disciplinary development. At present, our study of remaining oil distribution technology and method basically met with foreign main oil-producing countries, the technical level close, but in reservoir management aspects and dynamic monitoring system value degree, there are certain disparity. For Xilei block of Xinmin oilfield at Fuxin uplift zone Fuyu oil layer of the reservoir geology and development characteristics, based on comprehensive analysis of reservoir geologic, logging and analysis dynamic prodution data of oilfield, using comprehensive geological analysis technology, the reservoir of 3D modeling technology,Logging data processing and Comprehensive interpretation and other modern technology and methods of reservoir description. In petroleum geology, modern sedimentology, reservoir geology, reservoir engineering geology and oilfield development for subjects such as theoretical guidance, using computer technology as the means,to Xilei block of Xinmin oilfield at Fuxin uplift zone Fuyu oil layer of the reservoir carried on the reservoir modeling is the core of the reservoir fine description and residual oil distribution research, analyzes the affecting factors of remaining oil distribution of static and dynamic factors, and proposes the comprehensive development of oil adjusting suggestion.
