This paper studies the Pixian plant diversity in urban green space based on the Path-corridor theory of landscape ecology. Through data investigation, diversity index of the four plants were analyzed, Data results obtained:1) Pixian showed the species richness'trend of tree layer> shrub layer> herb layer; 2)towns little difference between the dominance; 3)diversity index showing a lower level of urbanization with decreasing tendency; 4)lower dominance region, the higher the evenness. Based on the status quo of plant and diversity of urban green space of Pixian, following problems have been analysed:1) the living environment of plants has been severely damaged caused by city's rapid expansion and unreasonable planning; 2) ecosystems within cities tending to simplify; 3) the phenomenon of urban space separated seriously; 4) knowledge on plant diversity lacking and confusion of management etc.During the research, as combined with a large number of field investigation, studying, data collection and analysing, the planning proposals were made for green space system of plant biodiversity in Pixian. The proposals are planed and zoned by ecological functions as following:1)Agro-ecological zones:in order to maintain the diversity of agro-ecological system type, according to the natural conditions in different parts of their agricultural zoning, local conditions, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries to overall development, mutual mosaic, diversified pattern of the ecosystem, to create a rich ecological transition zone, increasing the edge effect.2)River ecological zones:the ecological, landscape, multi discipline in the direction of development, focusing on water pollution of river wetlands to govern and promote the recovery of aquatic plant diversity, conservation and construction of a clean water source to play the ecological function area. Strengthen the river bank in the water protection, to enhance ecological conservation and ability to maintain the stability of ecosystems, restoration of river ecological functions of wetlands, while increasing the landscape.3)Densely populated cities and towns:reasonable adjustments within the various types of bulk green densely populated urban scale, number, shape, location, etc., in order to better play the role of massive green space, and with other types of urban green space in the mutual penetration, so that Various types of green patch in accordance with the different functions, size and location, constitute the entire town a large area of green space system, which play its restoration and maintenance of ecosystem self-purification of natural cycles and ecological functions.4)Industrial economic zones:improving business units and its subsidiaries within the green green plant diversity is the key, the key also to create a clean environment,anti-pollution features of the ecological environment, to develop and use a anti-pollution, trees absorb the gas function.5)Forestry ecological zones:the type and relative to other types of green space cooperation, strengthening nature reserves, scenic spots and forest parks in the construction and protection, ecological construction and protection of the red line delineated by creating clear channels such as ecological forest protection measures, which to increase the plant diversity of the city.
