These years, along with the development of Laser technology and its extension of application, the generation and application of Hollow Beam Laser have been more and more advertent. Compared with the common laser beam, Hollow Laser Beam has many particular characteristics, which are used widely in some fields, such like, laser optics, Optical information processing, microelectronics, biomedical, and shimmer particles.The article introduced the classification of laser and its basic principles, and it also discussed the application in modern optics, and its development around the world. Due to its particular characteristics, the generation and development of Hollow laser beam has become a significant subject in modern optics. Now using geometric optics method to achieve the hollow laser beam is lack of a practical model. This article used the optical design software ZEMAX to construct optical system. To debug and optimize. compared with five programs, and using the characteristics of no color reflect system, this article proposed a new method that used Schwarzschild design to achieve hollow laser beam.
