With the development of seismic collection technology and seismic processing technology and seismic explain technology, it includes more abundance seismic information in the seismic profiler, there are a lot of information that you can not detect them with your eyes, you must use seismic date processing technology and computer to extract and analyze date information, and then, you could explain these seismic informations of reflection and these geology features.It chiefly studies some basic seismic attribute parameters in this article such as instantaneous amplitude, instantaneous phase, instantaneous frequency, instantaneous continuity, instantaneous dip, instantaneous acceleration and so on seismic attributes which can identify the internal structure and external geometry of seismic facies, it choses geometry attributes which can identify seismic facies external geometry to be parmater samples, and to use BP Networks to classify seismic facies. instantaneous phase,instantaneous continuity and instantaneous phase cosine those can identify the external of seismic facies; instantaneous dip alteration which is layers'dip had changed,so instantaneous dip had changed which could reflect the alteration of seismic facies internal structure and entire geometry; instantaneous acceleration could identify seismic facies geometry, it could not identify internal structure in a good way; instantaneous frequency, instantaneous frequency and instantaneous dip's modulus and instantaneous frequency and instantaneous dip's argument are not good to identify seismic facies external geometry; instantaneous amplitude could not identify the internal structure and external geometry of seismic facies; Event Continuity could identify the internal structure and external geometry of seismic facies,but its energy is weak.It studies the external geometry of seismic facies in this article, the seismic attribute parameter samples of using BP Networks to classify seismic facies should identify external geometry of seismic facies, so it chooses instantaneous dip ,instantaneous phase, instantaneous continuity and instantaneous phase cosine to be BP Networks'parameter samples. To classify facies through two different facies in two lines in two work areas, we find that BP Networks can very good classify facies and no facies if we set up a threshold value, in other word, BP Networks can classify facies with help.
