It is crucial for the tourist destination to come up with a solution which can offer a better aided decision-making tool for the travelers, by using new method and technology, as the remarkable development of modern technology such as computer technique and geographic information system. The existing problems are listed as below:firstly, combined geographic map and written description is widely adopted in tourism information system. Therefore the content and form is relatively simplex, additionally, the information expression is lack of intuitive vividness. With the increasing ratio in the market of self-service travel, tourists are willing to get more involved in the decision-making process. However, the present integration pattern of tourism information is comparatively "static", which cannot meet the growing demands of the personalized market.Video, as a reflection of the real world, by which the described geographic space strongly presents a sense of reality to provide an easier way gaining information. Nonetheless, it is difficult to pick up the position information via video; hence it cannot be used as a spatial data. This theory had been rewritten since the emerge of the locatable video. The locatable video, as a brand new expression of geographic space, can be defined as an integration of both video and space data that obtains a video image with space information.This essay will design and illustrate a live-scene tour-guild system, based on the practical situation of tourism resources, by using locatable video mainly. It will also provide the detailed design of system's structure, function and the interactive mode between customers and system. Moreover, the systematic framework, function and solution of the live-scene tour-guild system for both administers and tourists will be realization.The study progresses in this essay are listed as below:(1) This study took advantage of applying locatable video and panorama to enrich the traditional expression of tourism information system, in order to offer a high interactive landscape with rich content for tourists.(2) This study designed a set of locatable video gathering and processing flow path by analyzing the file format and feature of the video. And the study also expanded on the methods and rules of this system, like the technique of video segmentation, edit, index. The constructive efficiency for a live-scene tour-guild system can be improved consequently.(3) This study introduced a multi-mode video searching approach which includes space-site, key words searching, as well as custom-made live-scene tour-guild path. Furthermore, this approach achieved a cross-searching between digital maps and positioning video, as a result of that, the needs of tourists can be satisfied.(4) By taking the North District of Nanjing Normal University as an example, a live-scene tour-guild system has been built to popularize and socialize the geographic information system. |
